Our New Headshots by Reno Headshot Photographer

We had our family photos taken this weekend and so we decided we may as well do some new headshots for our Fifth and Chestnut team while we were all dressed up and looking nice! Matt shot a lot of portraits for me with a few outfit variations (since I need to use my portraits often on various marketing materials), and I took a few portraits of him for our website. Now yes, I am a Reno Headshot Photographer, but there is no way I would ever try these as a “self portrait!”

Gloria Jimenez of La Di Da Beauty spent the afternoon with me doing my hair and makeup, and so this was definitely a good opportunity for me to get headshots – since hair and makeup is a MUST for headshots! I gotta hand it to Matt because it was his first time behind the camera in a while. I love the headshots he created for me (I edited, of course) and I was happy to make some new headshots for my handsome man as well.

Seeing the images while editing made me really happy, too – because even though I am on a weight loss journey with quite a ways to go until my goal…I’ve lost 30 lbs since March and was struggling with the plateau I’ve hit. Yet, I’m very proud of the body I have right now in this moment. And that’s the first time I’ve felt that outside of when I was pregnant. I loooooooved my pregnant body. Like so, so much! Anyway…back on topic, here are some of my fave headshots of us!
