I had such a great time photographing Adriana’s new early spring Reno headshots as she recently joined Caliber Home Loans in Reno, NV!

In our short session together, we got a fun variety of poses to suit Adriana’s professional portrait needs.

Our weather on this late morning was a little windy and cold. However, Adriana was a trooper through our cold 15 minutes together!

Spring Reno Headshots

Our window light was great for indoor portraits at the office. The colors in the offices are lovely and welcoming, too. And the couch in the lobby was a perfect setting for some of Adriana’s headshots!

The outdoor settings at Caliber Home Loans on South McCarran are so pretty as well. We took advantage of the soft light outside provided by cloud cover!

Evening Reno Outdoor Summer Headshots

Due to the thick and terrible smoke, most of my July sessions were moved to early August. Yikes! I was glad to get a quick break in the smoke and rain to have a few days of great shooting conditions in a row.

The day of my shoot with Janine happened to be sunny with clear skies. Thank goodness!

At Bartley Ranch, there is a great patch of lush greenery to use for backdrops. And that is exactly what Janine needed for these headshots.

Corporate Reno Headshots

I created these Reno outdoor summer headshots to fit in nicely with the company’s current collection of other headshots.

Their headquarters is across the country. So it was great that my style worked out so nicely!

I have been so lucky to photograph Kerri & her family for the past several years! So of course, I was elated when she asked me to create her spring Reno headshots as she starts full-time self employment with her business!

Rancho San Rafael Royal Blue Reno Headshots

Rancho San Rafael is one of my favorite Reno locations for photoshoots of any kind because it’s beautiful year-round. We had a little extra benefit of cloud cover to give us nice, soft lighting in the afternoon. The colors Kerri chose for her headshots were also perfect. I love me a good royal blue!

Did you know that deep gem-colors are excellent choices for headshots? If you’re considering new Reno headshots, I always suggest a gem tone, coupled with a neutral color (like black as Kerri has done here).

I was so thrilled to create outdoor Reno headshots for Start Human again this summer! Danielle recently joined Amber’s team, so I also created some celebratory shots for their news letter and more! Below are just four of my favorite shots from the outdoor portion of our afternoon together!

This happened to be one of our very smokey days here in the Truckee Meadows – but the light was very warm and gorgeous because of it! And I love this background off Riverside Drive in Reno…right down the street from the Start Human office!

I’ll share more from our session soon – ya know, when my twins and toddler are napping at the same time! Total unicorn…lol!!

We had our family photos taken this weekend and so we decided we may as well do some new headshots for our Fifth and Chestnut team while we were all dressed up and looking nice! Matt shot a lot of portraits for me with a few outfit variations (since I need to use my portraits often on various marketing materials), and I took a few portraits of him for our website. Now yes, I am a Reno Headshot Photographer, but there is no way I would ever try these as a “self portrait!”

Gloria Jimenez of La Di Da Beauty spent the afternoon with me doing my hair and makeup, and so this was definitely a good opportunity for me to get headshots – since hair and makeup is a MUST for headshots! I gotta hand it to Matt because it was his first time behind the camera in a while. I love the headshots he created for me (I edited, of course) and I was happy to make some new headshots for my handsome man as well.

Seeing the images while editing made me really happy, too – because even though I am on a weight loss journey with quite a ways to go until my goal…I’ve lost 30 lbs since March and was struggling with the plateau I’ve hit. Yet, I’m very proud of the body I have right now in this moment. And that’s the first time I’ve felt that outside of when I was pregnant. I loooooooved my pregnant body. Like so, so much! Anyway…back on topic, here are some of my fave headshots of us!

I photographed Tracy’s wedding a while back and I was so excited when she asked me to create some beautiful outdoor headshots in September. She is a consultant for Rodan + Fields and needed some professional portraits for various online and printed materials she uses…and I was happy to help! And I have to say…the mini-facial kit by Rodan + Fields that Tracy gave me was FABULOUS. If you’re in the market for a new skincare regimen, Tracy is your gal!

We started our shoot at the studio, where Veronica of La Di Da Beauty styled Tracy’s hair and did her gorgeous makeup. After just a couple of quick shots there at the studio, we traveled to Rancho San Rafael and used the always-beautiful scenery as our backdrops. I love the colors and pieces that Tracy chose for her wardrobe – the purple is happy and fun, while the black jacket she wore for her other ensemble is a combo between professiona/feminine and kinda rockstar…I love it!

Congrats, Tracy, on your endeavor as a Rodan + Fields consultant and I wish for absolute success for you! And of course, thank you for trusting me to create  your headshots. You are a beautiful person inside and out!
