Western Themed Family Portraits in Gardnerville
As I get ready for a busy fall season of photographing seniors and fall family portraits, it’s time to share these western themed family portraits in Gardnerville at Gansberg Ranch! The Ringnes family always has the best ideas for their family portraits. And I LOVE seeing them year after year!
The last time I photographed this family, we were in Lake Tahoe at sunset. This time, we traveled out to Gardnerville to create portraits at a place that’s very special to this family with views of where Meredith and Andy first met.

It was super fun to use the rustic backdrops at Gansberg Ranch for these family portraits! The kids LOVED the horses, and it was fun to find out how much Meredith loves horses, too.
One really fun idea Meredith had for this session was to recreate the cover of the 1993 movie Tombstone. That happens to be one of my favorite movies so I knew EXACTLY what she was talking about!
After that, we photographed right until sunset, where we ended our session with an amazing silhouette and couple’s portraits.
