Stunning Lake Tahoe Senior Portraits | Shawna VIP Class of 2024
I am SO THRILLED to share Shawna’s stunning Lake Tahoe senior portraits at Hidden Beach with you guys today!! Shawna is on my VIP team, so you may even recognize her. I’ve loved working with her several times this year already. Shawna and her mom wanted to do her senior portraits in Lake Tahoe, so I worked with Shawna on choosing colors and textures that would mesh well with the beautiful blue and green hues of the Lake Tahoe backdrops. Her wardrobe also needed to coordinate with sand, boulders and greenery, since our Lake Tahoe location was so diverse. We also stopped at a lush meadow for some lovely feminine senior portraits during the summer super bloom. This was one of my TOP 10 favorite summer days in Lake Tahoe this season!
Lake Tahoe Senior Portraits at Hidden Beach
Shawna’s first look was a gorgeous teal tank top and light-washed distressed shorts. This was the PERFECT ‘fit for walking to Hidden Beach and stopping at the tunnel murals. Her top coordinated so perfectly with the colors of the water. It also was great contrast for the boulders.
Shawna’s next look was a white, flowy dress for some beach senior photos at Hidden Beach. This spot also has amazing manzanita and boulders that are stunning to work with. Her white dress was perfect for the glimmering lake landscape AND the manzanita.
After her white dress portraits, she changed into look number 3. This look was a tan cover up dress that was GORGEOUS with the lake, sand, boulders and stair case down to the beach. In this outfit, we worked our way down to a more private part of the beach where we ended up getting splashed QUITE a bit. However, it was TOTALLY worth it!
Shawna was SO cool with the wind and waves. She even got in the sand for some photos right before we headed out to our last location for the day. I absolutely love how everything at the beach turned out. Shawna is so carefree and fun!
Meadow Senior Photos
Shawna’s final look was her flowy white dress from earlier. But this time, we were in the beautiful meadows. The mosquitos nearly ate us alive, but we caught the amazing summer super bloom for her once-in-a-lifetime senior portraits. We are super grateful for that! I also adore her barefoot portraits here. It’s all so carefree and tells a story of a young woman about to step into adulthood!
