I had the fabulous honor of photographing the Baumbach family’s Reno family portraits this fall in Verdi (at my favorite little apple orchard, of course).
It was a very cold and overcast day – in fact, little raindrops hit my windshield as I drove into Verdi. Luckily, the rain stayed away and we had a nice dry photoshoot 🙂
And for how chillingly cold it was, the 5 kids did SO well. I mean, they did great for even the most perfect of weather conditions. I couldn’t ask for better smiles, attitudes and fun moments!
Photographing a group of more than 4 subjects can be challenging, but the Baumbach family really made it easy (which is not easy to do)! My first set of poses seemed too perfect to be true…everyone with eyes wide open and big happy smiles.
Reno Family Portraits & Candid Moments
As we roamed around the apple orchard field and went down by the river, I got to snap some more candid and silly moments with the kids, and I just love those photos so much.
When I take photos of my own kids, I find myself falling in love with the silly moments just as much as the “picture perfect” family portraits, so I enjoy including these moments caught on camera for my clients, too.
Thank you so much, Baumbach family, for trusting me to create these family portraits for you! It was a joy to meet you and all of your wonderful children, too!
