Prom Portraits at the Old Reno Courthouse: Avery & Ryan’s Lovely Session Before North Valleys Prom
For Avery and Ryan, prom was more than just a night out—it was a milestone in their love story. These two have been dating for seven months, and their sweet connection made this prom portrait session at the Old Reno Courthouse extra special.
We met up just before the North Valleys High School Prom at the Grand Sierra Resort. The classic architecture of the Old Courthouse in Downtown Reno made the perfect backdrop for their formal look. With spring leaves just starting to emerge and soft light filtering through the trees, every moment felt timeless.
A Picture-Perfect Couple
Avery wore the dreamiest white dress adorned with delicate purple florals. Meanwhile Ryan looked sharp in a light gray suit with a matching purple vest & tie. They brought coordinating floral arrangements that added a soft, romantic touch.
Their chemistry made every pose feel natural and effortless. Whether they were holding hands, leaning in for a laugh, or just smiling at each other, their connection shone through in every image.
Why Book Prom Portraits?
Prom portraits are a great way to preserve the excitement of prom. They capture more than just outfits – they hold onto memories, emotions, and relationships in a way that selfies can’t.
Avery and Ryan’s prom portrait session at the Old Reno Courthouse were fun, relaxed, and meaningful. Outdoor sessions like this one give couples room to breathe and be themselves, which results in photos they’ll cherish for years – so we were very lucky that the day’s rain had totally subsided by the time of our shoot.
