Learn how to preserve your memories from a Reno Photographer
I’m here to share my amazing downloadable guide that has actionable steps to show you how to preserve your memories! Before you download, I’ll explain a little bit about WHY I created this guide.
Although I am in the business of creating digital art, I firmly believe that your photographs should be printed and displayed! Why, you ask? To view and treasure them for more than a short period of time (like they are on social media). Think about it. You post a picture on Instagram and it gets a few likes; and then it disappears from everyone’s feed in a matter of seconds. That beautiful portrait and memory are replaced by numerous ads, and a flood of immediate new content.
Don’t forget that generations down the line won’t be able to look at your Instagram or Facebook account. Why? Because you will be gone, and so will those accounts. It’s sad, but it’s a reality we have to think about.
It’s also (sadly) very easy to get locked out of your own accounts.
The only way to prevent an image’s power and memory from being stolen like that is to PRINT THAT IMAGE and display it and enjoy it.
The Best Ways to Share Your Memories: Albums, wall art and prints
My favorite way to display professional portraits is through wall art and albums. However, there are MANY ways to display your portraits so that multiple generations can treasure them.
This is genuinely WHY I meet with you in-person to showcase your gorgeous professional images, present the products I carry and ASSIST you with choosing how to display your portraits, so that your photos don’t EVER just sit on a hard drive (or a social media account) without being printed for you AND generations down the line to enjoy every day in your home.
Unlike other photographers who may offer prints, I carry a beautiful line of heirloom quality products that last beyond your lifetime. This way, your photos will always be on display in physical form to bring back the memories from life right now. AND unlike photographers who ONLY offer digital files, you are not left on your own to spend HOURS painstakingly creating your own printed products. It’s my job to collaborate with you personally and design products you are in love with.
However, I know that you have WAY MORE than only your professional portraits to share and adore. With the incredible invention of the camera phone, we all have pretty decent cameras with us at all times. With that, we tend to take LOTS of pictures of EVERYTHING.
But what do we all tend to do with those photos? Outside of posting them to our Instagram feeds (or even worse….our 24 hour Instagram stories)? We do NOTHING with them!! YIKES YOU GUYS.
Don’t worry though. I am very passionate about combating this issue.
How to print your phone photos
As a mom who takes about a bajillion pictures of her own kids (and garden vegetables) on her phone, I know how daunting it is to do anything with them. So, I did what any Type A crazy person would do and I created a system for myself to organize my favorite pictures, back them up and PRINT THEM. This way, they don’t disappear into the social media/camera roll void.
Basically, what started as my own personal method to methodically organize, protect and print my photos has transformed into a very special freebie I’m offering to every parent I know: my Ultimate Memory Preservation Guide.
If you want to learn how to organize your photos, safeguard them AND how to print them and preserve them so that future generations will actually SEE those precious moments, you’ll DEFINITELY want to download my Ultimate Memory Preservation Guide right now!
A helpful guide to preserving your memories
I am providing this guide JUST FOR YOU to help get your photos OFF YOUR PHONE and into your hands.
Try to remember that digital images are really only great for two things: sharing on social media and digital archiving in the worst case scenario that something happens to your home/printed photos.
And of course consider getting professional portraits taken often (they are so special) and printed in a beautiful heirloom-quality album. If that process seems daunting to you – a HUGE part of pro photography with me is walking you through that process BY YOUR SIDE. I never want my clients trying to figure out how to print their professional portraits on their own. I see that as a very big part of my job! And I LOVE to do it. Contact me if you want to get a session scheduled or have any questions I can help you with!
