Gorgeous Desert and Beach Senior Portraits in Carson and Tahoe by Reno Senior Photographer

These gorgeous desert and beach senior portraits of Ana were SO much fun this past July! Ana is on my Senior VIP Team so I am incredibly lucky to get to photograph her for her entire senior year. Her senior photos were so special in the summer – splitting our time between Carson and South Lake Tahoe.

Summer Desert and Beach Senior Photos

Our first location for Ana’s senior portraits was King’s Canyon Waterfall where she wanted to capture the desert scenery in the lower area. It was SO lovely at this time of day – but did you know that we luckily narrowly avoided a rainstorm? It was absolutely pouring in Reno. But you wouldn’t even know it because the weather was PERFECT!

After our desert portraits, we headed up to South Lake Tahoe to get some historical scenery and beach portraits, too. Ana had the most beautiful outfits throughout her whole session, but I adore how she specially coordinated her outfit with the Tallac Historic Site. The colors were so amazing! As were the textures and patterns, too.

Ana is an amazing student and human being. I’m so lucky to know her and get to photograph her throughout her time as a senior. You’ll see her in all of the team photos for 2024, too, so this is not the last you’ll see of Ana!
