The Wickenberg Family chose a beautiful early Spring Day at Galena Creek Park for their Reno family portraits. I had a blast with this sweet family – they are laid back and so FUN! I love how silly wife and hubby, Leah and Chad, were together – at one point, I believe Chad licked Leah’s face – and I also love how much they love their dog and wanted to make her a part of the family photos. My pets are my family as well, so I can totally relate to wanting to capture the true family portrait including pets. Their sweet 6 month old, Ethan, was wide-eyed and ready for his photos as you will see as well. He was such a good sport and gave me some happy laughs and adorable faces. It was a pleasure to photograph this family of four (we gotta count the furbabies!) and I hope I get to document Ethan and this family grow!

Look at the big baby blues on this baby boy! What a beautiful family, and family portrait session. I have had a couple of sessions at Galena Park before, and it is such an amazing location for light and scenery. It is so nice to have that wooded location so close to the desert of Reno!

What a sweet little baby — so expressive during his family’s photo session at Galena Creek Park! I’m not very familiar with the Reno area but the wooded area, that looks very similar to to the mountains near me, surprised me. You obviously have a lot of really great location options for family photography.
