In August of 2022, I happily donated a full 1-hour session including my basic print package to my kids’ school for it’s 20th Anniversary celebration. The package also included hair & makeup services by Me Beauty, who was so kind to collaborate with me for the donation. And Kate was so sweet to enter – and she won! So we were able to create cute fall teen portraits with her this October!
Kate is an absolutely stunning, driven and intelligent young woman. I couldn’t have been more honored to work with her to create her fabulous portraits! She isn’t quite a senior, but almost – and there is no “wrong” time to capture your personality and create portraits that make you feel amazing. I absolutely love that she wanted portraits of her at this moment in time.

If you scroll through the portraits below, you’ll see that we had the most STUNNING fall day. And you’ll also see that the leaves were starting to turn yellow & orange…AND Kate found a frog!! How cute is that?! It added a totally unexpected level of extra fun to our session!
I had such a blast adventuring around Thomas Creek and chatting with Kate and her mom (who was also so kind as to be my assistant & take behind-the-scenes footage for me). Moms who hold reflectors are heroes in my book!
