Ready for some creative Midtown senior portraits!? I have wanted to photograph a senior in the Midtown areas of Reno, and hit up a special mural, for a while now. And I am so glad that Morgan helped me achieve that goal! For this senior session, Morgan had three outfits, ranging from super casual to really classy! I loved ALL of his looks and we had such a blast roaming around Midtown together with his Mom, Joelle! Thank you both for making this shoot happen!
Midtown Senior Photo Locations
Our first stop was the iconic Nevada Museum of Art. Morgan’s white T, black jeans and white & black Nikes worked perfectly against the modern architecture and monochrome color schemes of the museum’s exterior. It was super fun getting to know Morgan and we chatted about his year of cheer ahead on the Reno High School cheer team. I also learned that he’s doing fun and exciting things this year with “We the People” at Reno High.
From the NVMA, we moved on to a Hannah Eddy mural that I pass ALL THE TIME and have always wanting to photograph a senior there. His green and jean outfit at that spot was absolute perfection!
After that, we just went down the street to get some other urban vibes and different poses. It was also nice to chill in the shade on this HOT summer evening. Prior to this night, it had been pretty cool, but it felt like summer started the day we did Morgan’s session!
Finally, in a classy button up white shirt and navy slacks, we ventured around some other Midtown areas that I LOVE. We got some amazing reflective portraits against windows, and also elegant and modern portraits against brick settings and other urban scenes.
A Fun Day of Creative Senior Photos
I am so thrilled to have to spent an afternoon creating amazing portraits with Morgan around Midtown. As you know from my intro, this area has been on my list of places to do a senior session. It was great to see the logistics of it all come together and work out so perfectly. I absolutely LOVE every portrait we captured, but here is a selection of my favorites from the day. Morgan, you were such a joy to work with!!
