These creative bookstore family portraits at Sundance Books in Reno and the Reno Downtown Library for the Harada Family will surely inspire book lovers out there! It was so much fun seeing this awesome family for their yearly portraits! I absolutely adore my families who see me year after year!! It was also SUCH an honor to include Hetty’s mom in these portraits before a big move away from Reno.
Sundance Books Portrait Session
We began our photoshoot on a snowy day at the Downtown Reno Library, which unfortunately wasn’t opened due to adverse weather in the morning. So we skipped on down to Sundance Books early who was kind enough to let me photograph part of our session there. I am SO thankful for their generosity!
Alyssa is one of my FAVORITE child clients. She cracks me up and is so sweet and fun! We had a blast dancing around Sundance Books and perusing the selection. She even walked out with a brand new book – Dragons Love Tacos. How stinkin’ CUTE is the picture of her showing off her new book?
Downtown Reno Library Portraits
After we wrapped up at Sundance, we headed back over to the now-open library to finish up our shoot among the beautful indoor greenery there. The Downtown Reno Library is SO cool. I love the multiple levels, gorgeous natural light and waves of lush foliage inside. It’s such a creative portrait location!
As always, I had so much fun with the Haradas. They are so incredibly laid back and totally roll with the punches every year when we get crazy weather. And even though our first indoor location was unexpectedly closed, they took it in stride and adapted so easily. Watching Alyssa grow up little by little (or by a lot) every year is so fun for me, and seeing Hetty & Branden often since their wedding is such an absolute HONOR. Thank you guys so much for trusting me every year with your family portraits <3
