Let’s just say – WOW. The Eagle Falls trailhead is an incredible location for senior portraits for several reasons. First of all, Eagle Falls portraits are very unique…this spot is not terribly easy to get to when coordinating with a photographer, and it’s on the side of the lake that takes a little more time to travel to, depending on where you’re staying in Lake Tahoe, or where you live in Reno/Sparks. Secondly, Eagle Falls has a beautiful downward view of Emerald Bay and Fannette Island in Lake Tahoe. Eagle Falls also has (you guessed it) a waterfall cascading down into Lake Tahoe, surrounded by pines and beautiful rocky ledges.

With the huge variety of backdrops and scenery we can get in this location, It is an amazing place for senior sessions. Here, you can be immersed in the absolutely stunning views of Lake Tahoe while being surrounded by gorgeous forest landscapes with creeks and towering mountains, too.
