UNR College Graduation Portraits with Trixie on Campus & Downtown

We explored the University of Nevada, Reno campus together before heading downtown for the perfect golden hour glow. Every outfit, accessory, and location told a piece of her story. It was such a joy to celebrate this milestone with her!
Trixie graduated from UNR in May of 2025 with a clear path forward in medicine. She brought the energy of someone who has worked incredibly hard – but still wanted to soak in every second of her achievement. Her stoles, honor cords, and custom cap were all stunning details. And yes, she even brought a golden crown which was a heartfelt way to honor her heritage.
Celebrating a Huge Milestone with Style
We started her session on the UNR campus, where we took advantage of the beautiful architecture and tree-lined walkways. Her images near Morrill Hall and the Quad felt timeless and polished…the perfect nod to her time at the university.
She even changed into scrubs for a few portraits that honored her medical education journey. These images will mean so much as she moves on to her next chapter.
A Sunset Walk Along the Riverwalk
After finishing on campus, we made our way to downtown Reno. The old courthouse and Riverwalk added an entirely different feel to her portraits. As the sun dipped low, the light was soft and dreamy – ideal for those final shots. Trixie’s white dress popped beautifully against the purple flowers in bloom, and her cap reading “Stay Gold” tied the whole session together.
