Sweet Country-Style Senior Portraits in South Lake Tahoe with Natalie
I had the best time creating the most gorgeous and eclectic country-style senior portraits in South Lake Tahoe with Natalie, a member of my Class of 2026 Senior VIP Team. We started our session at the Tallac Historic Site, which is such a charming spot. Then we headed to Kiva Beach, just a short ways away. The rustic buildings, lakeshore, and mountain views gave us the perfect mix of backdrops!
Natalie wore a ruffle-layered cream dress and cowboy boots to start. She looked absolutely beautiful in the natural woodsy setting. Later, she changed into jeans and a fun pink floral top. Both outfits paired perfectly with the historic surroundings of Valhalla and the Pope Estate.
At Kiva Beach, we switched gears to highlight Natalie’s many accomplishments. She brought all of her impressive dance medals to show off. I was blown away by how many she has earned. It was so fun to photograph her walking barefoot along the shoreline with those medals draped on her arms, in her simple, but elegant, dance outfit. Her joy and pride really shined through.
We also captured some cheer portraits in her North Valleys High School uniform. She posed on the beach with her custom cheer box and pom poms. The lake was calm, and the skies were soft and glowing. It felt like the perfect ending to our session.
Natalie is not only incredibly talented, but also so kind and easygoing. She was up for everything and made this shoot such a joy.
