From Bridgerton Style to City Lights: Kayla’s UNR Senior Portraits
Capturing UNR senior portraits is always a treat, and Kayla’s session was absolutely magical from start to finish. I’m also SO lucky to have her on my Senior VIP Team!!
A Bridgerton-Inspired Beginning at UNR
We started Kayla’s session at the University of Nevada, Reno. She wore a baby blue dress with soft floral texture and carried a lovely parasol that brought serious Bridgerton vibes. Between the roses and lush green ivy, every detail felt elegant and timeless.
The architecture at UNR also played so nicely with her look for this location. It feels absolutely MAGICAL!
A Floral and Meaningful Stop at Rancho San Rafael
After UNR, we made our way to Rancho San Rafael Park. Kayla changed into a white dress adorned with delicate blue flowers. And her mom was also so sweet to swing by for my Mom & Daughter portraits as well.
Kayla also wore her high school letterman jacket with pride – showcasing her patches for martial arts and swimming. But the highlight of this location was definitely her Tae Kwon Do portraits.
She brought her black belt and a full collection of past belts. I loved capturing these powerful and personal portraits for her. It was a special way to celebrate her years of hard work and discipline. And the action shots are so cool!!
Downtown Reno City Style
As golden hour shifted into twilight, we ventured downtown. Kayla changed into a casual red tank and denim shorts. From the rooftop views to the Riverwalk’s flowers and evening lights, every location gave her senior portraits a stylish urban edge.
Even in 100-degree heat and gusty wind, Kayla stayed upbeat. She was full of ideas and energy. Truly a pleasure to work with!
I’m so thankful Kayla is part of my Senior VIP Team. This won’t be the last time I photograph her…more fun shoots are coming soon!
