Reno Senior Portraits with Max in Downtown and Tahoe for Casual Beach Vibes

January 15, 2026 in Senior Portraits

If you want to see Reno senior portraits with variety and personality, Max’s session is the perfect example! We started his shoot at a downtown Reno parking garage for urban vibes, where he rocked both casual outfits and his Galena High football jersey. This location brought out the bold and modern look we were going for, especially with the cool concrete tones and sharp lines.

Next, we wandered down to the Riverwalk for a more relaxed feel. We had some great laughs, especially with the restaurant crowd cheering us on as Max posed nearby. These spontaneous moments are what make senior sessions so memorable!

After capturing the vibes downtown, we headed west to Carnelian Bay in Lake Tahoe. The transition from urban grit to natural beauty was amazing. We found a forested trail and a rocky beach to match Max’s chill and adventurous style. He’s a water lover through and through, especially since his family spends so much time on the California coast. That made the lake location extra meaningful for him. You can really tell that he is at home by the water.

Throughout the shoot, Max was easygoing and full of good energy – as always! He’s hilarious and fun to work with. What made this session extra special, though, is that I photographed Max and his family when he was about 7 years old or so. It felt full circle to now capture this huge milestone in his life! Grateful to have him on my Class of 2026 Senior VIP Team. That means I get to capture his whole year!

If you’re a senior (or a parent!) looking for portraits that reflect your style and story, I’d love to work with you. Let’s create something unforgettable!
