Today’s Wedding Inspiration Wednesday is brought to you by this incredible shabby euro chic wedding, which was featured on Offbeat Bride. The bride, Lauren, said she wanted the reception to feel “like the Petit Trianon, or an English garden party, but with no rules.” Here, you’ll see that you do NOT have to have a traditional wedding dress, or traditional wedding anything, to make your wedding still feel like a wedding – your way. Lauren’s green and blush dress was absolutely incredible, and she made it herself. Her accessories were unique and completed her 18th century inspired look. She owns American Duchess with her husband, Chris, and if you take a look at their business (hint: they make and sell historical footwear), you can see where their passion lies and why they chose the theme, look and feel of their wedding day. Really, this wedding was a pure DREAM for a Tahoe Wedding Photographer like me!
How to achieve the Shabby Euro Chic Wedding Look
The tremendous spread of vintage touches is not easy to achieve without some serious help, and an incredible florist, rental company, caterer and bakery all joining forces with one vision in mind. A solid vision for everyone involved is key. Being on the same page leads to a cohesive wedding look.
Wondering how to pull off such amazing decor at your own wedding? Employ the services of The Entertainer and A Floral Affair, who gorgeously decorated and provided vintage and shabby chic rentals for Chris and Lauren’s wedding.
This fall wedding was hands-down one of the most unique weddings we’ve ever photographed as a Tahoe Wedding Photographer team. If you love these photos, make sure to check out the full blog post, where you can get a fuller understanding of just how detailed and gorgeous this wedding really was.
