Sunday was a lazy day for the Drydens. We cleaned up from Alayna’s wedding reception (in our backyard – photos coming soon!) and then we simply hung out the rest of the day….watched Modern Family and baked cookies. Oh – and watched the solar eclipse in our backyard with all the neighborhood kids and Ben. We weren’t exactly set up to take photos of the whole shebang – but Matt acquired a piece of welding glass to cover our lens and took some photos anyway. We took a few shots of the partial eclipse and had everything ready for when the moon would be right in the center of the sun and then BAM…clouds moved in right over the sun/moon. We were like…”noooooooooooooo!!!” Until the clouds graciously moved out of the way enough to grab ONE photo of the full eclipse. It was actually kind of magical. Did you get some sweet shots of the eclipse? Leave a link in the comments below…we’d love to see them!
