Romantic Fall West Shore Cafe Wedding by Lake Tahoe Wedding Photographer
Lindsay and Stace’s West Shore Cafe wedding in Lake Tahoe on an early fall afternoon in September was absolutely spectacular. This couple, along with their wedding planner (Take the Cake Events), obviously thought about every little detail, and it was executed so well! As a result, their guests were blown away with how thoughtful and gorgeous each part of this wedding day was.
I love that Lindsay and Stace met through work, and then got engaged on a row boat in San Francisco. The proposal sets the stage for a romantic and sweet wedding day, don’t you think?
The day started at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort in Incline Village, where Lindsay and Stace prepared with their best friends, family and amazing golden doodle, Norm. Norm made my day by being the cutest ring bearer of all time.
West Shore Cafe Wedding Portraits & Romantic First Look
Since Lindsay and Stace shared a first look before the ceremony, we were able to spend some awesome laid back time photographing their portraits and wedding party along the shore of Lake Tahoe. The lighting for this portrait section of the day was simply stunning. We photographed portraits on the property next to West Shore Cafe, where the light filtered through the trees for gorgeous back lighting. Therefore, their portraits have a beautiful and luminous feeling to them that I love.
Lighting is always a huge plus to doing a first look, photography wise. In addition, it was so nice for me not to be rushed during family formal portraits and I’m sure that Lindsay and Stace appreciated that they actually got to join their cocktail hour and greet all of their guests warmly.
West Shore Cafe Wedding and Cocktail Hour
The ceremony was sweet, fun and emotional…all in front of the most gorgeous backdrop you can imagine in Lake Tahoe. The floral arch by A Floral Affair was so lovely, too. After vows were said and Lindsay and Stace were announced husband and wife, we photographed family photos while guests mingled.
Business Casual rocked the cocktail hour music with their amazing acapella renditions of popular songs while guests enjoyed delicious and beautiful appetizers and drinks. Guests also snapped instax photos of themselves in exchange for their escort card to leave as a memento for Lindsay and Stace. That was SUCH a cute idea and I would love to see it at more weddings.
West Shore Cafe Wedding Reception – Dinner, Dancing & Fun!
Prior to sunset, West Shore Cafe poured wine and served dinner before the champagne toasts. Then it was time for cake cutting, dancing and all the fun reception shenanigans that follow. Lindsay and Stace’s guests were definitely having a fun and amazing time. Sound in Style Productions played an excellent mix of music, creating quite the party! Also, guests were having a blast with the PicBox photobooth and enjoyed yummy cake and desserts by Witt’s Cakes. I was so honored to be chosen to photograph their romantic, classic and absolutely GORGEOUS West Shore Cafe wedding in Lake Tahoe. Thank you, Lindsay and Stace…cheers to forever!!
